What got people talking?

Town centre activations | Draft 10-Year Bike Plan | Seniors Survey | Golf Facilities Plan | Oyster Bay Waterway Management | Oak Park and Shelly Beach Renewal | Our plan for FOGO

Highlights of the year:

  • Kirrawee Library+ opened, a bright technology focused library and community space shaped by your feedback. It's already been recognised with one of the state’s top building awards.
  • A new all-abilities playground opened at Waratah Park, Sutherland. This new playground is vibrant and inclusive and offers unique play experience – community feedback helped shaped this much-loved space.
  • Our Community Plan – Towards 2035 was adopted and sets the long-term plan for Sutherland Shire’s future. Your feedback shaped the plan to ensure we are a community where life thrives!

We recognise the importance of switching off — for our community and for our staff. Consultations mostly pause over the holiday period, honouring time for rest and reconnection, before we begin again in the new year.

Wishing you a safe, restful and joyous holiday season
