What Comprises Gross Floor Area

This is a trial survey, to be sent to Local Government planners, that seeks to find a common interpretation and application of the Standard Instrument definition of Gross Floor Area. Your feedback on the survey would be appreciated, so I can make the survey better.

The following information and survey questions seek to find a consensus on the definition of gross floor area. The survey is anonymous, however your Local Government/ Council area (pre-amalgamation) is required. Survey results will be forwarded to each participating Local Government /Council area.
