Draft Plan of Management for Gunnamatta Park

Gunnamatta Park is an iconic community space and area of cultural significance for the Sutherland Shire. Council has prepared the Draft Gunnamatta Park Plan of Management to help guide the use and management of this Crown Reserve.

The area includes a sheltered beach, netted tidal baths and jetty, open grassed areas, picnic tables and BBQs, a playground, amphitheatre, a large 200 seat picnic shelter and Gunnamatta Pavilion.

The Plan of Management will apply to the entire of area of the reserve.

Next steps:

Following community consultation, Council will review and consider all feedback. We may make some changes to the draft Plan of Management before finalising the Plan of Management for adoption by Council.
