Our Delivery Program and Operational Plan

Consultation period: 30 April - 28 May

Our Commitment to our Community

We have developed a new Delivery Program and Operational Plan that turns our strategic goals into real-life actions.

This plan shows what we will do between 2025-2029 and is shaped by what you have told us is most important.

The Delivery Program outlines our priorities and details all the strategies, projects and initiatives that Council will work on over the next four years.

It clearly shows how your rates are being used, and highlights the Councillor Priorities for 2025-2029 which include:

  • Town centres
  • Sport and leisure precincts
  • Traffic and parking
  • Housing and development
  • Waterways and stormwater

The Operational Plan sets out Council’s activities and budget for the financial year including our proposed fees and charges. It shows how we’ll deliver on community priorities and maintain essential services over the next 12 months.

Some exciting highlights in the 2025/26 Operational Plan are:

  • starting the roll out of a food organics and garden organics (FOGO) service, which is the biggest change to domestic waste management in a generation
  • completing the second stage of the Cronulla Town Centre upgrade
  • continuing our transformation of Seymour Shaw Park in Miranda
  • upgrading Heathcote Oval
  • upgrades at Engadine Leisure Centre
  • adding facilities at Cooper Street Reserve in Engadine
  • designing the upgrade of Gunnamatta Pavilion and Cafe
  • planning for The Ridge Golf Clubhouse
  • designing Prince Edward Park Road pedestrian bridge
  • and creating a new park for Caringbah Town Centre.

This is just a snapshot of what we have planned.

We are also sharing our draft Resourcing Strategies which includes the:

  • Draft Long Term Financial Plan
  • Draft Asset Management Strategy and Plans
  • Draft Workforce Management Strategy
  • Draft Information Technology Strategy

The draft documents are available in the Document Library on this page.
