    Council has resolved to undertake community consultation to name the lookout at Wanda Beach, Cronulla the “Bobby Brown Memorial Lookout”, to recognise the contributions of the late Robert “Bobby” Brown, a local Cronulla resident and renowned surfer in the 1960s.

    A draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) between Council and Engadine Tavern Project Pty Ltd has been prepared to facilitate the exchange of a portion of Council owned road on Geebung Lane for a portion of the car park located at 5 Preston Avenue. The agreement includes a contribution for the embellishment of the augmented Engadine Town Park.

    We are excited to announce a new community park is planned at Oak Road in Kirrawee. Council purchased residential land in 2019 using development contributions and will transform it into a new park to be enjoyed by our Kirrawee community. We are seeking feedback on how our community would like to use the reserve for recreational activities.

    We are seeking views from across the community as we develop this Strategy, which will set the priorities and focus for the next 10 years and beyond.
