Rawson Avenue Cycleway and Footpath Upgrade Stage1

The first stage of this consultation has now concluded

An upgrade of Rawson Avenue's cycleway and footpath infrastructure is needed to improve the connectivity and safety of pedestrians and cyclists travelling between the Sutherland town centre and the Sutherland Leisure Centre facilities, Sporting Fields and Education and Economic precinct. Improvements to these facilities will reinforce the shire's cycling and footpath network and help encourage greater active transport use.

Stage 1 of this project focuses on scoping the project, undertaking a review of environmental factors (REF) and consulting with key stakeholders to develop a concept design for Council to consider and endorse prior to detailed design and construction activity is undertaken.
