Seymour Shaw Park Recreation Opportunities - 2020 Survey

Consultation has concluded

Seymour Shaw Park is a key recreational area in Miranda and Council is looking at ways to improve how the space is used and provide better opportunities for recreation. These improvements will be aimed at supporting active lifestyles now and into the future.

Existing facilities at Seymour Shaw Park cater for a range of sporting and recreational activities, including netball, soccer, tennis, cricket and a children's playground.

We want our open space to accommodate our community now and as it grows and changes, a key outcome in Council’s Open Space & Recreation Strategy.

To assist Council to plan for improvements and ensure they meet the needs of residents in the centre of Sutherland Shire, Council is seeking initial feedback from the community. Feedback can be submitted:

  • Online via the survey below
  • In writing to Asset Services, Sutherland Shire Council, Locked Bag 17, Sutherland 1499.

Further consultation will be carried out with the community as we develop concept plans for the park and any proposed improvements.

For more information contact our Asset Services team on 02 9710 0333.
