New park at Oak Road, Kirrawee - March 2020 Survey
Consultation has concluded
We are excited to announce a new community park is planned at Oak Road in Kirrawee.
Council purchased residential land in 2019 using development contributions and will transform it into a new park to be enjoyed by our Kirrawee community.
Planning is underway for the Kirrawee to Cronulla section of the Sutherland to Cronulla Active Transport Link (SCATL), a pedestrian and bicycle pathway connecting key destinations in Sutherland Shire. As this may affect the park’s requirements, the design will be completed once the planning of the SCATL path has been finalised by Transport for NSW.
SUBMIT FEEDBACK
To get a better understanding of how our community would like to use the reserve for recreational activities, we are seeking your feedback from 17 March until 6 April 2020.
Feedback can be submitted:
· Online via the survey below
· In writing to Asset Services, Sutherland Shire Council, Locked Bag 17, Sutherland 1499.
NEXT STEPS
Your suggestions will help inform the development of a concept design and our community will be invited to have their say on the design in late 2020.
