Improvements for Prices Circuit Reserve, Woronora

We have developed a concept design for passive park improvements at Prices Circuit Reserve, Woronora.

The plans include:

🚶 Pathways and accessibility improvements

  • a new wider concrete pathway along the river, outside of existing tree and root zones
  • a new accessible carparking space with a ramp between the carpark and the existing pathway
  • a new loop pathway at the southern end of the reserve
  • a new concrete ramp connecting the southern end of the riverside footpath to Prices Circuit.

🪑 Facilities and amenities upgrades

  • a new electric BBQ with small shelter to replace outdated existing BBQ
  • new picnic tables (without shelters) to replace outdated tables
  • new seating along the pathway
  • a new drinking fountain with a bottle filler.

🌳 Shade and tree canopy

  • retain the extensive existing tree canopy, providing natural shade throughout the reserve
  • a new shade shelter over a new BBQ to complement existing shade.

Following consultation between 2024 and 2025, we heard from our community that a playground is not the right fit for Prices Circuit Reserve. Instead, there was strong support for a more inclusive, accessible and flexible passive recreation space that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.

We’ve listened, and a playground has not been included in the concept design.
