Sutherland Shire Council has developed a draft Masterplan for Gymea Bay Baths Reserve – a key waterfront reserve and recreational area.
The draft Masterplan sets out a future vision for the reserve which will provide better opportunities for recreation and support active lifestyles now and in the future.
About the Gymea Bay Baths Reserve Masterplan
Over the past 12 months, Council surveyed the community about the area and their recreation needs to inform the draft Masterplan.
Council also formed and worked closely with a Stakeholder Reference Group comprising 38 members of the local community. They considered the site opportunities and constraints and collaborated with Council though to concept design, to ensure the Masterplan best meets the needs of local stakeholders.
