Council has determined these fees and charges in accordance with Section 610D of the Local Government Act 1993.

Council fees for meeting and multi-purpose rooms have been benchmarked against similar commercial and Council-run venues within the Sutherland Shire and throughout Australia.

Council is committed to providing services that benefit the community. This is why we have proposed a two-tiered fee structure:

• Commercial/Private users will receive no discount. These are defined as profit-based organisations or individuals hiring venues for the sole benefit of that organisation or individual.
• Student/Community/Not-for-profit users will receive an 80% discount. This includes people with a current student card or registered not-for-profit community organisations.
