Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement – 13 Endeavour Road, Caringbah

Council is seeking feedback about a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) created in association with a development at 13 Endeavour Road, Caringbah.

The development is being completed by Aliro Pty Ltd as part of its most recent Development Application (DA23/0721). The development includes demolishing two existing buildings and constructing eight new buildings on the site, in a staged approach.

The VPA proposes to:

  • Dedicate part of the roundabout at Gannons Road and Captain Cook Drive in Caringbah, and the adjoining building frontage, including the slip road extending from the Solander Playing Fields car park, as public road under Council ownership.
  • Provide traffic lights (signalisation) at the Endeavour Road and Captain Cook Drive intersection.

These changes offer the following benefits:

  • Minimise the impact of increased traffic anticipated from the new development in the area
  • Secure ongoing public access to Solander Playing Fields by formally dedicating the slip road to Council ownership.
