Access to Information Policy Review

Consultation period: Monday 5 June to Monday 3 July 2023
Council has reviewed and updated our Access to Information Policy. The purpose of this policy is to outline Council’s principles and commitment in providing public access to information in accordance with the Government Information (Public) Access Act 2009(External link) (GIPA Act).
The GIPA Act defines how information held by Council can be made available to members of the public. All members of the public can apply for access to this information.

- Formal access to information request.

Next steps
Following community consultation, Council will review and consider all feedback. Some changes may be made to the Policy. It will then be finalised and reported to Council for adoption. We will keep interested members of the community updated.
