Dianella Street Reserve Playground Renewal

Consultation has concluded

Consultation is now closed.

Consultation was open from 2 December to 15 December 2019.

The playground in Dianella Street Reserve is planned for renewal in 2019-2020.

Proposed work includes:

  • Replacing play equipment with new equipment, compliant to current Australian Standards;
  • Increasing the range of play opportunities (eg. dinky/bike track); and
  • Providing improved amenity for carers and children (eg. seats)

The existing playground is situated close to the corner of Dianella Street and Cawarra Road (1R Dianella Street Reserve).

The renewal of the playground in its existing location raises concerns over current proximity to the busy road and the limited space available to expand the playground. For this reason, relocation of the new playground within Dianella Street Reserve is proposed. The new location is proposed to improve user amenity and connectivity to the nearby school and child care centre, sporting oval, bus stop and car park.

Council would like to hear from you to get a better understanding of equipment priorities and the proposed location. There are two ways you can provide feedback:

One of our Drop-in Information Sessions

  • Tuesday 3 December - 3pm to 5pm at Dianella Street Reserve, Caringbah.
  • Saturday 7 December - 11am to 12pm at Dianella Street Reserve, Caringbah.

Online survey

  • Complete the survey below by 15 December.
