What is a Masterplan?
A Masterplan is a planning document that helps establish the future vision, work plan and forecasting budget allocations. In this case, the masterplan has been done for the entire reserve. This includes the very long term proposed plan to acquire the houses along Old Princes Highway when they become available for sale.
Will there be an opportunity to provide feedback on specific parts of the Masterplan, such as the All Ability Playground and Active Sports and Youth Precinct?
This is the second stage in community consultation. The All Abilities Playground and the Active Sports and Youth Precinct will go back to the community when concept designs are available for feedback.
When will work start at Cooper Street Reserve?
Work will be prioritised according to the short, medium and long-term goals set out in the Masterplan. The first stage of priority short-term work is expected to start in early 2022.
Will the reserve be closed during the work?
Some areas of the reserve may be closed to the public during construction.
