Consultation has concluded

Council is seeking feedback on the draft Sutherland Shire Community Strategic Plan. The draft Plan outlines the community’s aspirations and long-term vision for the Sutherland Shire and has been prepared by Council in collaboration with, and on behalf of residents, businesses, all levels of government and local agencies, to help build a vibrant and sustainable future for the local community. 

The draft 2018-19 Operational Plan, Budget and Long Term Financial Plan has been approved by Council and will be on public exhibition from Thursday 19 April until Thursday 18 May 2018. The draft Plan can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, Sutherland, at any library branch within the Sutherland Shire and online at the ‘Join the Conversation’ page, sutherlandshire.nsw.gov.au.

Feedback on the draft Plan can be submitted via ‘Join the Conversation’, sutherlandshire.nsw.gov.au or mailed to Strategy and Performance Unit, Sutherland Shire Council, Locked Bag 17, Sutherland 1499. These Draft Plans spell out Council’s priorities, actions and commitments to you and are based on the things you've told us you value and need to maintain your quality of life in Sutherland Shire.

  • a liveable place with high quality of life.

Council approved drafts of these planning documents for public exhibition, and we are welcoming community feedback between Thursday 19 April and Friday 18 May 2018.

The draft Plans are available in the Document Library to the right, or can be viewed in hard copy at Council’s Administration Building, Sutherland, or at any library branch within the Sutherland Shire.
