Council has a Code of Meeting Practice that regulates meeting procedures. On 14 December 2018, the Minister for Local Government prescribed a new Model Code of Meeting Practice for Local Councils in NSW. The Local Government Act 1993 requires Council to adopt a Code of Meeting Practice that is consistent with the Model Code.
To fulfil these requirements, Council has revised its current Code of Meeting Practice and we are now seeking your feedback on a draft Code of Meeting Practice.
·Public Forums: Public Forums are to be held prior to Council Meetings
·Webcasting of Meetings: An audio recording of Council and Council Committee meetings will be uploaded to Council’s website

The draft Code of Meeting Practice will be on exhibition until 6 May 2019 and you are encouraged to provide comments for Council's consideration. You can provide comments online (below) or as a written response to:
