Proposed Sale of Council Land at 223A(part) and 223G Belgrave Esplanade, Sylvania Waters

Council presently owns two parcels of land - classifed as Community Land - at 223A(part) and 223G Belgrave Esplanade, Sylvania Waters which adjoin the Doltone House function centre at 223 Belgrave Esplanade. These two parcels of Council-owned land are currently used by Doltone House as a car parking area and garden area for photographs and wedding receptions.

The owners of Doltone House (Signorelli Investments P/L) have approached Council seeking to purchase this land. Council's Budget & Strategy committee resolved to undertake community engagement prior to any further consideration.

This sale would require the land's reclassification to Operational land and rezoning from RE1- Public Recreation to B1 - Neighbourhood Centre. The community is invited to comment on the proposed sale in the following ways:
