Woronora Village Tourist Park - moveable dwellings

Consultation has concluded

Council has received four applications regarding the installation of four moveable dwellings at Woronora Village Tourist Park, 1 Menai Road Woronora. We recognise this is of significant interest to members of our community that are local to this area and we wish to ensure an opportunity to provide feedback but also information about overlapping development applications in this area/at this location.

Development applications summary

  • The proposed two storey moveable dwellings outlined in the four applications include:
    • a toilet, laundry and storage on the ground floor
    • two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living and dining rooms on the first floor
    • car parking adjacent to the ground floor, under the first floor.
  • Dwellings are manufactured off site and installed in accordance with the Local Government (Manufactured Home Estate, Caravan Parks, Camping Grounds and Moveable Dwellings) Regulation 2021.
  • The dwellings are to be installed on sites A, B, C and D (as shown in the Location Map document in the right hand menu on this page).
  • These applications are made under Section 68 of the Local Government Act and require Council consent.
  • It should be noted there is a separate development application (DA22/1071) that proposes changes to the layout and configuration of sites, and may also enable the installation of further two storey moveable dwellings. Submissions received as part of this DA22/1071, will be considered by the Local Planning Panel and responded to in an Assessment Report. You can review the DA online via Council's DA Tracker.
