Seymour Shaw Park Masterplan & Youth Precinct - Stakeholder Reference Group

Consultation has concluded

Council is forming a reference group to ensure the perspectives of community stakeholders will inform the development of a Masterplan and Youth Precinct for Seymour Shaw Park in Miranda. Establishment of the reference group supports Council’s goal of working collaboratively to build a community informed and engaged in its future, as outlined in our Community Strategic Plan.

WHAT WILL THE REFERENCE GROUP DO?

The objectives of the reference group are to:

  • Actively engage with the broader community to draw out and bring to the reference group ideas and feedback to inform the design of the Masterplan and Youth Precinct
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively together to achieve the best outcomes for the greatest proportion of the community
  • Provide feedback through community networks on the development of the Masterplan and Youth Precinct.

WORKSHOPS

The group will meet for three workshops from October 2020 to February 2021. Members must commit to attending all workshops.

The workshops will be held in-person at Seymour Shaw Park. Council is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our community and has completed a COVID-19 Safety Plan and registered as a COVID Safe business with NSW Health.
