The Planning Proposal SSLEP2015 Minor Amendments: Heritage items seeks to amend and adjust the heritage schedule and mapping. This amendment makes minor corrections to the listing of existing heritage items and their associated mapping. The amendment also recognises a new State Item – the Lucas Watermills Archaeological Sites, and lists a new local heritage item - the sandstone wall and park at Maris Park, Port Hacking. The Planning Proposal is generally consistent with relevant State and local legislation, direction, policies and strategic documents and will have minimal environmental, social and economic impact.

On 18 September 2018, As of Council report PLN041-18, Council resolved to prepare a Planning Proposal in cooperating the amendments considered in PLN007-17 and PLN028-18. This planning proposal seeks to address a range of minor heritage corrections, updates and adjustments.

The planning proposal and supporting documents are on public exhibition from 25 September 2019 until 23 October 2019
