SSLEP2015 Minor Amendment - Exempt and Complying Development 2018
The amendment has now been gazetted.
At its meeting on the 17th September 2018 (PLN041-18), Council resolved to prepare a draft Planning Proposal to amend the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015 (SSLEP2015) for public exhibition. The provisions enable minor forms of residential development to be undertaken in the E4 Environmental Living zone without the need for a Development Application.
The changes generally correct minor issues and adjust requirements to better match State policies. The changes also facilitate suburban style boundary fences and pool fences in the E4 Environmental Living zone without requiring a Development Application in most cases.
The Planning Proposal, Council reports (PLN028-18 & PLN041-18), Gateway Determination and Frequently Asked Questions can be viewed under the Document Library (right hand panel).
Hard copies of these documents can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, Sutherland, or any library branch in the Shire during the exhibition period.
