Sutherland Shire Libraries deliver information, education, literacy and leisure resources, services and programs at eight branch libraries across 52 weeks of the year. Services are designed for cradle to grave and foster lifelong learning, a love of reading and to build social engagement and community development.

The branch libraries are:

•           1 central library located in Sutherland

•           5 full-time branches at Caringbah, Cronulla, Engadine, Miranda and Menai

•           1 part-time branch at Sylvania

•           1 shared delivery service based in Bundeena Public School
