Sandy Point Boat Ramp Upgrade

Consultation has concluded

Sandy Point Boat Ramp

Sutherland Shire Council, with support from Transport for NSW's Boating Now program, is proposing to upgrade the boat ramp at Sandy Point.

What's changing?

The upgrade is to improve:

  • functionality and safety for current users,
  • access for emergency services and local/recreational use,
  • foreshore infrastructure to support recreational boating experiences.

There is no proposed change to parking or road access.

Council has prepared a concept design and we are now seeking feedback on the design from the local community.

Following public consultation and a review of the feedback, Council will finalise the design and inform the community. Construction is expected to start in Autumn 2022.
