Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group - Expression of Interest - August 2020
Consultation has concluded
Council is looking for two Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community representatives who are interested in joining its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group.
Council aims to further recognise and celebrate Aboriginal history and culture, and create opportunities for self-determination, equal opportunity and reconciliation in Sutherland Shire.
Your role in the Working Group is to provide guidance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge and perspectives in the development of Council’s Reflect RAP, to advance the profile of reconciliation in the Sutherland Shire, and to lead by example actioning the commitments in the RAP.

Expression of interest (EOI) submissions will be reviewed and short-listed applicants will be invited to an interview on Wednesday 9 September 2020 at Council – 4 Eton Street Sutherland.
Who can apply?
- Any resident of Sutherland Shire who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is aged 18 or over can participate
