Council is looking for four Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community representatives who are interested in joining our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group in 2023.
The role of the Working Group is to provide knowledge and perspectives in the development of Council's next RAP, to advance the profile of reconciliation in the Sutherland Shire, and to lead by example actioning the commitments in the RAP. The group will meet quarterly between March 2023 until March 2024.
Who can apply
Any resident of Sutherland Shire who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is aged 18 or over can participate.
How to apply
If you are interested in becoming a member of this group, please fill in the Expression of Interest form below by 12 February 2023.
Short-listed applicants will be invited to an interview at Council Administration Building at 4 Eton Street, Sutherland at the end of February.
