The Policy supports our vision for a culturally rich and vibrant community. It recognises the important role of public art in engaging the community, creating a sense of place and enhancing the liveability of our region.
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Inform the strategy for a new Public Art Plan which will identify the key themes and priorities for 2022-2032
Provide a transparent framework to manage art submissions
Enable an independent and equitable process
Ensure a high standard of public art
Formalise management of Council art assets.
