Council has reviewed and updated our Textile Recycling Bins on Council Land Policy. The purpose of this Policy is to advise how the placement and management of textile recycling bins will be controlled and regulated by Council to minimise the impact on the community. This Policy applies to all commercial and not for profit/charity organisations who operate clothing bin collection services in the Sutherland Shire local government area on Council owned or controlled land.

Council has reviewed and updated our Work, Health and Safety Policy. The purpose of this Policy is to make clear our commitment to maintaining the health and wellbeing of our workforce and those that work in and visit our Workplaces, and how we seek to fulfil that commitment. The principles outlined in the revised Policy have been reviewed to reflect Council’s desired safety maturity and Council’s Low Risk Appetite for Work Health and Safety. This Policy does not relate to community safety.
