Planning for Marton Park, Kurnell

Consultation period: 4 March to 4 April 2024

Marton Park is a key recreational area for the Sutherland Shire, located in Kurnell. Council is looking to review and update the current masterplan to cater for a renewal of the playground and fitness equipment. Improvements will support active lifestyles now and in the future.

Marton Park includes sports fields suited to junior rugby league and cricket, numerous community buildings, playground, basketball court, fitness equipment and BBQ area.

The masterplan review will focus on the playground, fitness equipment and associated elements.

Following community feedback, Council will finalise its review of the existing Masterplan for Marton Park. The updated Masterplan will then be available for community review and feedback – expected by mid 2024.
