Why are Council proposing to introduce 4 hour time limits on weekends?
Overall Council expects there will be more visitors to Seymour Shaw Reserve year round.
By introducing time limits, we expect to increase turnover and likelihood of visitors to find a car spot.
What are all the car parking changes going to be at Seymour Shaw Reserve?
As part of the stage 1 development of the youth active sports precinct, playground and skate park at Seymour Shaw Reserve. The internal carpark of 30 spaces plus 27 Wandella Road roadside parking spaces will be removed during construction.
Once construction is complete, we will install a new car park on Wandella Road which will have 55 car and bike spaces plus additional bus and drop off areas.
