My property is in Zone C4 Environmental Living, what should I consider about this proposal?
If your property is in Zone C4 Environmental Living and also bushfire prone, the rules in the SSLEP2015 about complying development on your lot will now align with the SEPP (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008. It will be clearer where and what kind of complying development can be carried out on your lot.
My property has a right-of-way, what does this mean for me?
If your property has a right-of-way and also has a street frontage in the current development controls, the required landscaped area is a percentage of your total lot size (this percentage depends on what Zone your property is in). Under the proposed amendment, the required landscaped area will be that same percentage calculated on your total lot size less the area of the right-of-way. This means that your total landscaped area requirement will be reduced.
