Tell us what you think of your libraries and library services and go in the draw to win a $50 Event Cinemas voucher.

We run a Customer Survey every two years to seek and act on feedback from the community about how we can continue to improve.

We want to know if you are satisfied with the facilities, services and resources provided at Sutherland Shire Libraries, and hear your suggestions for improvement or ideas about new and innovative services and facilities that the libraries could provide.

By registering to complete this survey, you enter a draw to win one of four $50 Event Cinemas vouchers. Register with Join the Conversation (not your library membership) to take the survey.

  • Why is the Library doing a Customer Survey?

    The Library Service is a part of the local Sutherland Shire community, aiming to meet and reflect the needs of everyone that lives here. Sutherland Shire Libraries' mission is to make sure everyone has access to information and opportunities for leisure and lifelong learning.

    It does this by seeking out and developing the best ways to:
    • be a welcoming, accessible space to be shared and used by the whole community,
    • provide equitable access to inspiring, relevant and responsive physical and digital collections—books, audiobooks, children’s literacy resources, music and movies—for young and old;
    • connect with the community and connect the community with each other with a huge range of events and programs for all ages that aim to be inclusive, high quality, informative and fun; and
    • make innovative and emerging technology, quality information and research resources, accessible to everyone.

    The Customer Survey is one of the ways to make sure we are achieving these aims and whether there are ways we can do them better. This is the third survey conducted by Sutherland Shire Libraries since 2016. To see how the library responded and acted on results from previous surveys, click on this news update.
