What is a Masterplan?
A Masterplan is a planning document that helps us establish the future vision for the reserve. It also allows us to prioritise and coordinate future work and forecast budget allocations. This ensures the reserve meets the needs of the community.
What are the next steps?
Following this consultation, Council will review all feedback received and prepare a draft Masterplan. The draft Masterplan will identify a vision along with short, medium- and long-term goals.
Will there be an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft Masterplan?
The draft Masterplan will be available for the community to review and provide feedback in 2023.
When will work start at Kareela Reserve?
Work will be prioritised according to the short, medium and long-term goals set out in the Masterplan. Short term upgrades may start in 2023/24.
