Improvements to Helena Street Reserve Dog Park, Kirrawee

Consultation period: 21 March to 21 April 2022

Helena Street Reserve is a popular and much-loved dog off leash area in the Sutherland Shire.

Over the last 12 months Council has improved the turf at the southern and northern ends of the park, installed four water stations and renewed the carparking area. We will also be improving drainage around the shelter at the southern side of the park and installing signage.

We know more can be done to improve this Reserve and are seeking community input on potential improvements so we can prioritise work and meet the needs of our community.

Next steps

Council will consider community feedback and prepare a prioritisation plan for improvement work at Helena Street Reserve. Work will then be delivered in stages over the next 12 months. We will keep the community updated of progress.
