Ferntree Reserve Playground Renewal

Consultation period: 14 March to 14 April 2024

We are excited to let you know of Council’s plans to renew the playground at Ferntree Reserve in Engadine. Renewing the playground will improve the condition and safety of the play equipment and surrounding park area for our community to enjoy.

The opportunities include:

• Renewal of existing play equipment
• Increase the range of play equipment catering to a wider range of ages
• Improve the play area, softfall material and overall amenity of the space

The area of Ferntree Reserve that is planned for renewal is shown in our location map.

Have your say

To assist Council to prepare plans for the playground and ensure it meets the needs of our community, we are seeking feedback on how you currently use the area and what improvements you’d like to see at the playground.

You can provide feedback until 14 April 2024:

• Online by responding to the survey or sharing your ideas and favourite playgrounds in the ideas board

Next steps

Following community feedback, Council will prepare the design for the playground. We will keep the community updated of progress. It is expected that work will start at Ferntree Reserve in early 2025.
