Update: Final Masterplan

Update: Masterplan for Marton Park, Kurnell

Thank you for those who provided feedback on the draft Masterplan for Marton Park, Kurnell in June/July this year.

The Masterplan was adopted by Council on 12 August 2024. The final Masterplan is now available here.

Feedback received from our community on the draft Masterplan, included concerns around drainage, lighting and the location of the playground. This feedback has helped shape the finalised Masterplan for Marton Park.

Changes made to the Masterplan based on feedback include:

• Improvements to drainage at the field and surrounds has been brought forward into the short-term program of work
• The playground location has moved from behind the clubhouse to the north of the field. This ensures the playground is more visible from the field for safety.

The short-term program of work will include the relocation of the playground, outdoor fitness renewal, lighting improvements, new tree planting and drainage improvements.

Council will be in touch with the local community as work progresses on each of these improvements to Marton Park.
