Person sits at desk with laptop and other items. Laptop screen says "cyber security".

Consultation period: 13 May to 9 June 2022

Council has drafted a Cyber Security Policy to support and outline Council's commitment to the security of its information assets. We are seeking feedback from our community on the Draft Policy, which is available in the Draft Documents section in the right-hand menu of this page.

The purpose of the Draft Cyber Security Policy is to affirm Council's commitment to protecting the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the valuable information it holds.

Internet usage has grown so quickly over the last two decades that technology now touches almost every aspect of our everyday lives. Cyber security is becoming more important as cyber risks continue to evolve for all businesses - both public and private.
