Council consulted with the local community between late 2019 and 2021 seeking feedback on what you valued in arts and culture in the Sutherland Shire. The insights and aspirations we received have helped shape the development of the draft Cultural Strategy.
The draft Cultural Strategy is our 10 year framework for our commitment to supporting and evolving our culturally rich and vibrant community for generations to come.
The Strategy has three key areas of focus:
A sense of place and story telling
A community enriched by creativity and its culture
Culture is inclusive, welcoming and accessible.

Next steps
