At Council we are committed to putting our Sutherland Shire community at the heart of everything we do; listening to your feedback and considering your views to help shape our community, environment, culture and future. We have drafted our Community Engagement Strategy 2022-26, which provides a framework for open and clear engagement and to inform decision-making processes.
The draft Strategy outlines:
The role our community plays in decision-making processes
How, when and who we engage with on Council projects, plans and policies
Our approaches to consistent and transparent engagement and decision-making
Streamlined processes for community participation in Council’s planning functions.
Have your say
Give us your feedback on the draft Community Engagement Strategy, tell us how you prefer to receive information and what expectations you have for engaging on issues that matter to you.
