Sutherland Shire Council is planning to expand and improve the playground at Canberra Road Reserve in Sylvania.
We aim for these improvements to cater for a variety of ages and assist our community to enjoy an active life connected to nature both now and into the future. To assist Council to finalise the planned update, we are seeking your feedback.
What's changing?
The new playground will take advantage of the existing playground site and paths and expand them. The new play space will include:
New play equipment for all ages and abilities
An accessible softfall surface
A purpose built learn-to-ride bike track featuring a roundabout
New seating and picnic setting
An open lawn and kick around space
Construction is due to commence in early 2022.
