Burraneer Small Craft Launch Ramp

Consultation has concluded

Sutherland Shire Council is proposing to install a launching ramp for small craft at the end of Lugano Avenue, Burraneer.

The ramp will be used to gain easy access to the beach and water for launching small craft such as kayaks and surf skis (ie. non-poweredcraft only). The proposal also includes landscape works to improve the overall amenity of the area.

The proposal has been developed in response to community feedback requesting ramped access to the water for launching small craft.

This upgrade is jointly funded by Transport for NSW through the NSW Boating Now program.

WHAT WILL THE WORK INVOLVE?

• New fibreglass mesh ramp to the beach allowing convenientaccess for small craft.

• New concrete footpath providing access to the ramp.

• New stairs to replace the existing stairs.

• Additional seating.

• Minor planting and garden bed improvements.

A site map is provided in the document library on the right.
