Sutherland Shire Development Control Plan 2015 - Amendment 2 Ridgeway Estate
Consultation has concluded
DCP Amendment 2 - Ridgeway Estate has been made. It came into force on 19 March 2018.
At its meeting on the 18th December 2017 (PLN025-18), Council endorsed a draft amendment to Sutherland Shire Development Control Plan 2015 (SSDCP2015), Amendment 2, for public exhibition.
The purpose of this draft Amendment is to make minor amendments to accommodate the recent subdivision (Ridgeway Estate) at New Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge. The amendment is to reduce the required front setback to 6m for dwelling houses in order to preserve the amenity of rear yards and streamline the assessment of development applications.
The Council report (PLN025-18) and the proposed amendments (to Chapter 1 (Introduction); Chapter 2 (Dwelling Houses in Zone E4); and Chapter 3 (Secondary Dwellings in Zone E4)) can be viewed under the Document Library (right hand panel).
Hard copies of these documents can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, Sutherland, or any library branch in the Shire during the exhibition period.
