This is a proposed amendment to the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015. The purpose of this amendment is to reclassify the following land from "community land" to "operational land":

  • 13R Pinnacle Street, Miranda (Lot 31 DP 11987)

  • 11 Dampier Street, Kurnell (Lot 158 DP7632)
The draft amendment also seeks to rezone the land forming Part of 2R Alexander Avenue, Taren Point (Part Lot 1 DP 234622) from RE1 Public Recreation to E4 Environmental Living, and apply a FSR of 0.5:1, maximum building height of 8.5m, landscape area requirement of 40% and minimum lot size of 700m2, consistent with the zoning of adjoining residential land.

Decisions to proceed with these reclassifications have been made by Council at a number of meetings previously. Full Council reports for each of these decisions have been provided as part of this exhibition.
