Why is this renewal work being done?
Our community strongly values open spaces. Council provides 150 playgrounds in Sutherland Shire and our aim is to ensure that play facilities are modern, fun and safe spaces for everyone to enjoy.
The playground at Ferntree Reserve has been identified for renewal to ensure it meets the service standards outlined in Council's Play Strategy.
When will work start?
It is expected work will start at Ferntree Reserve in early 2025.
